Stroll on Berlin
Right after WW2, Germany was divided as eastern part and western part, and Berlin was an island in east Germany territories, and started to be occupied/administered with four sectors by USA, UK, France and Soviet Union.
It is told that it was actually free to pass/walk in Berlin, but building on the military wall had suddenly been started on 1959 between Soviet Union sector in order to protect east Berliner's emigration to western sector.
There were some gates between east Berlin and west Berlin, and Check point Charlie, in the US sector, was the gate (controlled by US army) blogger passed and entered east part of Berlin with 3 Deutsch Mark paid on 1968.
As already known, the wall had been broken/destroyed by peoples on 1989 and Germany was unified after 44years separation on 1990.
